Professional Highlights

· What is your role, and what do you enjoy most about it?

I am Ann’s assistant and pre-employment processor. What I enjoy most about this job is the wide range of work we do for each client. Providing employers with detailed layouts on their future employee’s criminal history can be quite a compelling and interesting part of my job that I do not take lightly!My favorite aspect of my position is speaking to applicant’s references!Understanding an applicant on a personal and professional level is always a part of the job I cherish, hearing what people have to say about someone is what brings real humanity to the job that I enjoy most.

· How long have you been in this field/with our company?

I have been working with Cutting Edge since 2016!

· What inspired you to choose this career?

I was inspired by watching Ann run this company. I have always enjoyed working on computers as I am a millennial. Once I knew this career choice included technology and investigating; regardless of if it is a person or not, I was hooked by the opportunity! Not only did I choose this career, but it also indeed found and chose me!

· What’s one accomplishment you’re most proud of at work?

One accomplishment I am proud of is being a part of the growth of Cutting Edge.

·  What’s one skill you think every professional in this field should have?

Knowing when to think outside the box, since this job offers so much nuance!

Personal Insights

· What motivates you to do your best work?

What motivates me is understanding the importance of accuracy, I understand that I must keep my head on a swivel when dissecting sensitive information.

· What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?

I deeply enjoy poetry and writing personal essays!

· How would your coworkers describe you in three words?

Chatty, outgoing, optimistic

·  What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?

Trying out a new restaurant!

· Who has been a major influence in your life or career?

Miss Ann Beecher! She has truly paved the way not only for me to have a successful career, but she has been a personal inspiration. She has taught me through not only explanation, but action in how to be patient, considerate, use my critical thinking skills, and make informed decisions with life and with work! Those are skills that I hope to better each day.

· If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?

I would love to have the ability to fly, I would save money on gas and car insurance!

· What’s one thing on your bucket list?

Skydiving!
